Southern Downs Regional Council will continue its capital and maintenance works programs and some flood works during the next fortnight with the following roads receiving attention:

Current projects
• Work continues on gravel re-sheeting on sections of Savio Road, Scotts Camp Road and Pradella Road, Amiens
• Work continues on grading of sections of Springdale Road, Stanthorpe
• Emergency repairs on roads affected by heavy recent storms in Maryvale
• Reseals on streets around Stanthorpe and other southern towns will continue through the next fortnight
• Repairs continue this week to sections of Hendon-Mt. Marshall Road
• Repairs to Wheatvale Plains Road, Wheatvale, continue
• Construction work on the Hendon-Deuchar Road is underway and due for completion in mid March

Project starting in the next few weeks
• Various patches are being resealed in the Stanthorpe town area starting Friday and due to last for one week.
• Flood damage works (re-sheeting and drainage) in the Stanthorpe area will commence in mid March
• Re-sheeting of sections of Mt. Marshall-Clintonvale Road, Mt. Marshall, are due to commence in mid March
• Gravel re-sheeting to sections of North Branch Road, Maryvale (delayed due to rains)
• Inspections of 15 timber bridges in the northern end of the Region (delayed due to localised flooding)
