Slade school sells for $4 million plus GST
Southern Downs Regional Council announced today that the sale of the Slade School Campus in Warwick to Christian Community Ministries has been completed.
Council has sold the site for $4 million plus GST after the property was purchased in 2007 from Church of England Grammar School for $3.65 million plus GST.
“Our intention has always been to preserve this site as an educational or community asset and prevent residential development,” said Mayor Ron Bellingham.
“I am pleased that this historical school site will once again be used for educational purposes,” Cr Bellingham said.
