Council to reseal Stewart Avenue, Warwick

Southern Downs Regional Council will begin resealing Stewart Avenue between Grafton and Percy Streets, Warwick, on the evening of Thursday 15 March 2012.
“This avenue is used as a thoroughfare to the Returned and Services League (RSL) and McDonalds Restaurant, as well as by veterans on ANZAC Day,” said Peter See, Director of Engineering Services.
“It is currently in a very uneven condition and we are resealing it with asphalt this month so it will be much improved by ANZAC Day,” Mr See said.
“The works are being done at night to minimise disruption to the central business district and the RSL main car park, which comes off Stewart Avenue.”
