Council to remove 90-year-old dead tree in Leslie Park
Posted: March 8, 2012
Southern Downs Regional Council will this month remove a large Slash Pine tree located near one of the pathways in Leslie Park, Warwick.
The tree was inspected by an independent arborist recently, and advised that the tree was dead and required removal.
The tree is estimated to be around ninety (90) years of age.
Parks staff will remove the tree in March and replace it with a similar species in another area of the park.
