21/11/2008 - Business as Usual at Stanthorpe Waste Disposal Facility
Temporary fencing gives the illusion of Stanthorpe’s Waste Disposal Facility being closed, but it is business as usual at the site.
Manager Built Environment, Scott Cobon announced this week that preparatory work has started on the Resource Recovery (Recycling) Centre at Rifle Range Road, Stanthorpe.
“Even though work is under way for the recycling centre, the current waste disposal facility will continue to operate as per normal,” Mr Cobon said.
Residents are still able to use the facility from 7.30am to 5.00pm every day, except for Tuesday’s and Christmas Day, when the site is closed.
