Hairy Hop-Bush (Dodonaea hirsuta)
| Habit | Bushy or open shrub up to 2m high x 1m across, with brances ascending and somewhat arching when laden with fruiting capsules. |
| Leaves | Very small (5mm long), in clusters of 3 or 4 together, hairy, roughly triangular in shape with the broad end being lobed |

| Fruits | Very showy, 1 - 1.8cm diameter, hairy capsules which have 3 or 4 angles or papery wings arranged evenly around the fruit; green at first, maturing to various shades of pinkish-red and red, then dark reddish-brown |
