Education

The Southern Downs Region is fortunate to have a wide range of education facilities available to the public.  Beginning over 150 years ago with the opening of the state's first free school in Warwick, the Southern Downs has been a leader in education ever since.

There are over 40 schools in the region, including a number of quality private schools and tertiary education providers.
