Seven facilities to be key-locked
From Monday 12 December 2011, the Amiens, Thulimbah, Pozieres, The Summit, Broadwater, Glen Aplin, and Ballandean unmanned waste transfer stations will be locked, with key access given to local residents only.
It will be free for local residents with a key to dispose of domestic household waste at these key-lock facilities. If you are a local resident, contact Council to obtain your key.
Larger household items, such as couches or fridges, can be taken at no charge to the Stanthorpe Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre.
Commercial or industrial waste should also be taken to Stanthorpe if you are in the southern region.
