Stanthorpe Civic Centre Complex

The Stanthorpe Civic Centre is located adjacent to the Council offices at the corner of Marsh and Lock Streets, Stanthorpe.

The facility can cater for a wide range of functions including weddings, conferences, meetings, conventions, trade shows and concerts/theatre performances.

Sound & Lighting

The Stanthorpe Civic Centre is fitted with a state-of-the-art Sound system (operable from either stage or sound desk) providing audio to the Main Auditorium, Dining Room, Exhibition Space and Foyer. 

A full DMX lighting system is also available to direct stage lighting.

Other Facilities

The Civic Centre includes the foyer, orchestra pit, dressing rooms under stage (with hot and cold showers and toilets) electrician and fly galleries, producers box and public toilets.

The public toilets are located adjacent to the Main Auditorium on the southern or Lock Street side of the building.

Male and female toilets are located adjacent to the dressing rooms and are accessible from the exhibition space and dining room.

Seating

  • 600 movable single seats to match.  These seats are stored in the link area between the main auditorium and exhibition space.
  • Gallery 225 fixed seats
  • 230 cream and 28 blue plastic seats

Please note: it is estimated that the Main Auditorium can seat approximately 350 people at tables for dinner or similar type functions.  If the Supper Room and Exhibition Space are included, the estimated maximum is 500 people seated at tables.  However these numbers are estimates only and are largely determined by the table configuration used.
