Southern Downs Regional Council meetings are conducted on a monthly basis, with general meetings held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, and four committee meetings held in the week prior to the General Meeting. All councillors participate in each committee meeting. Individual committees and their respective chairman are listed below:

• Planning & Environment – Cr Neil Meiklejohn
• Corporate Services – Cr Mally McMurtrie
• Engineering Services – Cr Ross Bartley
• Community Services – Cr Denise Ingram.

For the coming twelve months, monthly general meetings will be rotated between the Warwick and Stanthorpe Chambers. Members of the public are welcome to attend in the public gallery. Except when invited to do so by the Chair, a member of the public shall not take or attempt to take part in the proceedings of a meeting.
